In The Daily Show’s America (The Book), there’s this running gag of little boxes that say “WERE YOU AWARE…?” and give absurd little pieces of information just like those stupid boxes that always said “DID YOU KNOW” in high school text books and for some reason I keep coming back to that “WERE YOU AWARE…?” and putting it in front of the phrase “I fucking hate everybody” and my internal monologue 82% of the time is literally me just repeating “WERE YOU AWARE, I fucking hate everybody?” over and over again and I’m starting to feel like there may be something wrong with me?????????????
